Father José arrives September 8!
We are very blessed that Father José Maria Cabrera will be joining Holy Spirit Parish as our pastor on September 8. Here are some fun facts about Father José:
- He loves the Scriptures.
- His Bible Museum will move with him to Holy Spirit Parish (more details on this TBA).
- He spent 12 years as pastor at All Saints Parish in Bay City.
- He laughs easily.
- He loves his pet fish.
- His first pastor/mentor as a new priest was Father Pete.
- He is from Peru.
- He is eager to get to know the Holy Spirit Parish community.
Fr. José’s first weekend to celebrate Mass at Holy Spirit is September 12 & 13. After all the Masses on September 12 & 13, our Knights of Columbus, Fr. Robert W. Davey Council 8808, is sponsoring light refreshments. Please join us to help welcome Father José to Holy Spirit Parish!
