Bishop Gruss has proclaimed a Year of the Holy Spirit in the Diocese of Saginaw which began on the Solemnity of Pentecost, May 24, 2026 and will conclude on the Solemnity of Pentecost 2027. The next speaker in the series at the Center for Ministry will be Father José on July 8. Save the date!

Celebrate our faith in fun and helpful ways at this summer’s Wacky Wednesdays for students entering K – 6th grade! There will be prayer activities, crafts, games and service projects.

July dates: July 8, 15, 22
August Dates: August 5, 12
You can choose from either afternoons 1- 3pm

OR

Evenings 6 – 8pm. Come to as many as you can.

We are always in need of cantors and choir members! If you are interested in being part of the music ministry, contact Ryan at ryan@saginawhsp.org or see him after Mass!

There will be a choir practice in August – Wednesday, August 26 at 7pm.

The choir will sing at the 11am Mass on August 30 (Fr. Pete’s last Mass at Holy Spirit).

We all have “thorns” in life, but through God’s grace they WILL be turned into “roses.” The meaning and understanding in this summer’s book read – Thorns have Roses – will be medicine for your soul. Read it on your own or gather with others when you can. The group meets Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 PM until August 19.

Books can be purchased in the Parish Office for $15
